Story: Animal control officer and shelter manager, Jessica Ganas, brings to the shelter a tremendous amount of knowledge and love for animals, with more than 22 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician. She has engaged the community and has formed collaborative partnerships to gain support and help accomplish mutual goals for the county. Jessica works tirelessly to rescue every lost, homeless, abused, neglected, and unwanted dog, take them in, and provide them with medical attention, nutrition, social interaction, and loving care. She is a true rescue hero and should win an award.
